Marguerite "Mollie" E. Apps, 94, of North Aurora, died on Monday, February 26th [sic] at Provena Mercy Center surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Aurora on February 5, 1913. She married Edwin G. Apps on May 15, 1943, in Sarasota, Florida while he was stationed in the U.S. Army Air Corp. Mollie was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother whose joy in life was providing for her family. She loved getting together with family and friends, dining out, and nature, especially growing flowers and watching the birds at the feeders. She was preceded in death by her parents, Nicholas and Margaret Stull, five brothers, and five sisters. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Edwin G. Apps; a daughter, Marguerite "Mollie" (Jeffery) Treest; son, James (Sandy Diveley) Apps; grandchildren, Michael and Stacey Apps; and many nieces and nephews. A funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:30 A.M. Thursday, March 1, 2007, at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 801 Oak Street, in North Aurora, IL. Visitation will be held from 9:30 A.M. until the time of Mass at the Church. Rev. John Slampak is celebrant. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in the form of Masses.
