Durden-Hudson Funeral Directors announces the death of Mr. Grover Epriham G. E. Watkins, age 70, of Swainsboro, GA on Sunday, June 5, 2011 at the Carl A Vincent V. A. Medical Center in Dublin, GA
Funeral services will be Tuesday, June 7, 2011 at 11:00 AM in the Peebles-Curry Memorial Chapel with Rev. Wayne Page and Elder Tommy Rountree officiating.
Interment will be in the Swainsboro City Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Monday evening at the funeral home from 6-8 PM.
Pallbearers are Robert Watkins, Dustin Watkins, Steven Edwards, Matt Edwards, Bill Hackle and Tyler Williamson.
Honorary Pallbearers will be classmates
Mr. Watkins was born in Savannah, GA, was a retired welder and pastor. He was a member of Spring Hill Baptist Church and was preceded in death by his parents; Walter Herbert and Lucille Youmans Watkins, and sister; Linda Watkins Claxton.
