Stephen Allen Reneau, 42, of Crete, the husband of the former Judith Case of Clinton, died at 1:10 p.m. Saturday, February 23, in St. James Hospital, Chicago Heights. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Clinton United Methodist Church, with the Reverend Phillip Burke and the Reverend C. Don Ferrill officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. There will be no visitation. Herington-Calvert Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Reneau was born on November 21, 1937, in Lewistown, Ill., the son of Harry and Glenna Vrell Reneau of Ipava. He married Judith Case of Clinton. His wife and parents survive. Also surviving are two children, David and Melanie, at home, and a sister, Sherry Higgs of Farmington. Mr. Reneau was assistant vice-president of the loan department of the Chicago Heights National Bank. He was a member of the Crete United Methodist Church, Crete Kiwanis, Ipava Lodge No. 213 AF & AM. He was active in Cub Scouting and the Crete Band and Orchestra Booster's Club. [Unknown Source]
