Rites Held For Risner

Funeral services for Porter E. Risner, father of C. L. Risner of Davis, were held Friday, Dec. 13; in the Vinita Avenue Church of Christ in Sulphur. Interment was at Sterling, Okla., with graveside services led by Roy Wood. Raymond Fulkerson conducted the services in Sulphur. Arrangements were by Dunn Funeral Home of Sulphur. Grandsons served as pallbearers.

Risner, a retired farmer, had lived in Ardmore 16 years. Prior to moving to Ardmore he lived in Sterling and in the Sulphur area. He was born June 2, 1884, in Thayer, Mo. He died Dec. 10 in the Ardmore Memorial hospital.

Survivors include five daughters, Mrs. Other Long, San Fernando, Calif., Mrs. Milford Johnston, Camerillo, Calif., Mrs. John Stevenson, Phoenix, Ariz., Mrs. E. F. Greeson, Sulphur and Mrs. Walter Rankin, Fletcher; three sons, Erwin of Indio, Calif., Bluford of Albuquerque, N.M., and C. L. of Davis, three sisters and 23 grandchildren.
