US Congressman. From 1974 until 1980, he served as the Controller for Washington County (PA) and then Chairman of the County Commissioners for Washington County (PA) from 1980 until 1994. In 1995, he was elected to the U.S. House of Representatives from Pennsylvania's 20th congressional district, were he served until 2003.
