Hulon Ray McPhail, 81 passed away Friday, July 8, 2011 at Miss. Baptist Medical Center. Funeral services will be held Monday, July 11, 2011 at 10:00am from the chapel of Wright & Ferguson Funeral Home High Street. Visitation will be Sunday from 5:00pm till 7:00pm and Monday from 9:00am till service time. Interment will be in Lakewood Memorial Park. Mr. McPhail was a native of D'Lo, MS. He was preceded in death by his wife Eleanor and son Mark McPhail. He was a deacon of Broodmoor Baptist Church, a veteran of the US Navy during the Korean Conflict. He graduated from Mendenhall High School and Memphis State University. Mr. McPhail was in the wholesale and retail grocery business for all of his live.

Survivors include his son, Michael and daughter in law Judy McPhail, of Brandon, MS., a brother, Bill and sister in law Jane McPhail, of Mendenhall, MS., five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren also survive.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society .
