John E. Ott, 65, of Springfield, Ore., a Boise valley resident for many years, died Saturday night at a Boise hospital. Mr. Ott was born May 21, 1887, in Horton county, Mo., and was married in 1919 at Boise to Mamie Moore, The couple had resided in Oregon the last 12 years. He was a member of the Church of God.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Mamie Ott of Springfield; four sons, Willard E. and Terry H. Ott, both of Myrtle Creek, Ore., Don D. Ott of Dexter, Ore., and Johnny E. Ott with the Air Force in Kentucky; Three daughters, Mrs. Marjorie L. Malkowski of Springfield, Mrs. Dorothy E. Pontius of Myrtle Creek and Mrs. Lela M. Lewis of Dexter; two brothers, Amos O. Ott of Three Sisters, Mrs. Ella Garber and Mts. Nora Creech, both of Portland, and Mts. Vergia Moore of Cloverdale, Cal., and 21 grand children.
Schreiber-McCann-Gibson is arranging services.
