HOLLY HILL Jasper T. "Jake" DeLong, 89, of Dixie Avenue, a retired carpenter, died Monday at Indigo Manor.
Mr. DeLong moved here in 1969 from his birthplace, Bridgewater, Maine. He was a member of the Church of Christ, Daytona Beach, Junior Chamber of Commerce, Bridgewater, and Tomoka Gem and Mineral Club.
Survivors include his wife, Reta; two sons, Wayne, Bath, Maine, and Paul, Ormond Beach; a daughter, Alana Gorin, New Smyrna Beach; two brothers, Arthur and Merle, both of Bridgewater; 10 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 310 N. Nova Road, Ormond Beach, FL 32174. Woodward, Holly Hill, is in charge.
