Sallie Palmer Sorensen Larsen, 81, of Provo, died November 29, 1992, at her home in Provo.
She was born July 14, 1911, a daughter of Ellis and Louisa Rowley Palmer in Colonia Pacheco, Chihuahua, Mexico.
She married John Raymond Sorensen April 5, 1927; their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.
He died October 28, 1961.
She married Andrew W. Larsen June 11, 1965 in Provo.
She was a lifetime member of the Clevell Club. She was a volunteer worker for the the blind and the Senior Citizens.
She served in the Relief Society presidency at the State Hospital, she was a visiting teacher, Primary teacher, and an MIA teacher, she was also a member the LDS Sunday Evening Group.
Survivors include her husband of Provo; her children, Douglas Q. Sorensen (Janice) of Sandy; Merta Rae Anderson (Keith) of Provo; Naoma Milner (Ernie) of Provo; John R. Sorensen (Jacquline) of American Fork; Jerry Sorensen (Julie) of Orem; stepchildren, Starla Rae Drage (Don) of Genola; Lorraine Thurber (Vance) of Draper; Wayne Larsen (Kathy) of Erda; Mark Larsen (Jolene) of Genola; also survived by 19 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren, 14 step-grandchildren, 11 step-great-grandchildren, numerous cousins, nephews, and nieces.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Dec. 3, 1992, at 1 p.m. in the Provo 19th Ward East Stake, 667 North 600 East in Provo.
Friends may call Wednesday from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at the Sundberg-Olpin Mortuary, 495 South State, Orem, and also Thursday from 12:15-12:45 p.m. prior to the services at the church.
Burial, Provo City Cemetery.
