She married Marshall Alexander on 22 June 1940 at Breckenridge. They lived in Breckenridge after their marriage later moving to Corpus Christi. The returned to Breckenridge in 1956. She was formerly employed by Bess Manufacturing Company in Breckenridge. She was a member of the United Pentecostal Church.
Survived by her husband; three daughters - Mrs. W.K. Wood and Alice Faye Alexander, both of San Diego, California; Janie Marie Alexander, a student at Breckenridge; two sons - Jerry Wayne Ponder and Marshall Lee Alexander, both of Breckenridge; one sister - Mrs. Zack Bise of Breckenridge; one brother - J.B. Davis of Lubbock; four grandchildren.
