The funeral of Mrs Amos (Amanda) Bechtel, occurred Tuesday at the Shaum church.
Mrs. Bechtel was a daughter of Mr and Mrs William Holdeman, of south of Elkhart, and was born on July 26, 1879.
Besides her parents and husband, she leaves the following relatives to mourn her loss: Two daughters, Dorthea, ages 18 months, and Amanda, aged one week and sisters, Mrs Nathan Weaver, Mrs Melvin Thomas and Misses Bertha and Samantha Holdeman, all of Elkhart.
The services were conducted by the Revs Crider, Martin and McGowen, and the interment took place in Shaum cemetery.
