Services will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Benson-Grove Funeral Home in Olney, with Rev. Mark Myers and Lenna Ernst officiating. Burial will be in Crest Haven Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today at Benson-Grove Funeral Home.
Memorials can be made to the American Heart Association.
Adamson was born Nov. 20, 1913 in Richland County, the son of William Roy and Floy (Shafer) Adamson. He married Mildred L. Nease March 24, 1940 at St James Lutheran Church.
He was a farmer and a member of the First United Methodist Church in Olney.
He is survived by his wife; two sisters, Jerry Adamson, of Sumner, and Leland Adamson, of Nashville, Tenn.; three daughters, Betty Elmore, of Mason, Bonnie Scherer, of Olney, and Sally Adamson, of Claremont; a sister, Helen Uhl, of Olney; 15 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by her parents and one sister.
