Henry W. Easterling
Henry W. Easterling of near Glennville, age 85, the oldest citizen of his section, died at his home last Friday, Sept.17, from feebleness incident to old age. He was buried in Beards Creek church Saturday afternoon. Rev. Wm. Griffin conducted the funeral services. Mr. Easterling was the son of John Easterling of Liberty county, and had been a resident of this county for about thirty years. He was the oldest of six sons all of whom where in the civil war. At present time there is only one son living, J.J. Easterling of Reidsville.
The deceased is survived by his wife and three sons, who are: Simon, Frank, and Boy Easterling.
