Mrs. Luella Baker
South Gardner Resident, 78, Lived here 56 years

Mrs. E. Luella Baker, 78, 53 East Broadway, widow of George E. Baker, died in her home last night after a long illness. She was born in Winchendon, Jan. 31, 1852, the daughter of Charles and Sarah (Thomas) Chase and had lived in this city 56 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church. Mrs. Baker is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Nellie M. Stone, with whom she made her home, and Mrs. Mabel L. DeCota of State Line, N.H.
The funeral will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Smith Funeral Chapel, Vernon street. Rev. Benjamin F. Lindsay, pastor of the First Baptist church, will officiate. Burial will be in Green Bower cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
