Born Wednesday, February 22, 1933 in Ardmore, Tennessee, he was the son of the late John Henry "Dink" Finley and the late Mary Kull Finley. He was the husband of the late Edna Whitman Finley.
He was a lifelong resident of the Ardmore area and enjoyed fishing.
Surviving are daughters, Connie Kay Anderson of Athens, AL, Glenda Fay Jacobs of Hazel Green, AL, and Angela Carol Morgan of Hazel Green, AL, sister, Doris Weiland of Ardmore, AL, four grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM on Sunday, July 10, 2011, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore with Bro. Dale Mitchell officiating, Alabama. Burial will be in Gatlin Cemetery, Ardmore, AL.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Saturday, July 9, 2011, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama.
