In Memory of my cousin, Kaye William Trapp 68 of Lead Hill

Kaye William Trapp, 68, died Sunday, Oct. 3 (1999) at his home in Lead Hill.
He was born Sept. 20, 1931 in Lodi, Calif., a son of the late Charles Dawes and Virginia Dias Trapp.
He was preceded in death by a very special uncle, Bill Graham.
He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean conflict as a photographer. K.W. was a prop master for the movie studios, having worked on the movie "Paint Your Wagon" and many more film locations in 34 years of being in the movie industry. He also worked on productions such as "Star Trek" and "Mission Impossible."
He was a hot rodder and sponsoring a racing car. In 1963 his friend Norm Grabowski sold him a 1925 touring car which K.W. later rented to the movie studios for "My Mother, The Car."
He is survived by many many friends.
Visitation from 7-8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 5 at Holt Memorial Chapel. Graveside service at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Raley Cemetery at Lead Hill with Rev. Glenn Crenshaw officiating.
Pallbearers will be Norn Grabowski, Jack Jo Hudson, Dennis Misamore, Mel Locke, Larry Cox and Ron Foss.

Kaye was the only son of Charles Dawes Trapp and Virginia Helen Dias. They were married on 5 March 1932 in San Francisco, California. They later divorced and his mother remarried a Mr. Hollis before 1950; she was born on 22 August 1914 in Chicago, Illinois and died 21 November 1988 in San Diego County, California. Her burial location is unknown as of 11 November 2023. Kaye had no other siblings even though his father remarried. He named no siblings or children in his will.
