The newspaper clipping is for a different Nell Barnes. It is odd that there are so many similarities between the two. Helen or Nellie as she was called was my Great Aunt and I knew her growing up in Waycross. She had a sister Ada who was married to A.P. Perham and is also buried in Lott Cemetery. I have a copy of Helen's birth certificate as well as copies of the family bible linked to her in my family tree which is posted on ancestry.com
