Katherine Nixon, 61, of Spring Branch, Texas, went to be with the Lord on Friday, January 24, 2014. Katherine was born on March 20, 1952, to the late Malvin and Bernice Tyson in San Antonio, Texas.
She is preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Sherry Miller and one brother, Delbert Tyson.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Frank Nixon; one daughter Renee Hobdy and husband Randy; two sons: Shannon Liccion and wife Michelle, and Allen Nixon and wife Kim; one sister Barbara Harmon; five grandchildren: Chase Liccion, Chelsea Liccion, Julian Brooks, Jessica Hobdy and Elaina Nixon; one great granddaughter Zoey Hedrick; and numerous nieces and nephews.
