VESEY - The many friends of Patrick Vesey will be pained to learn of his death, which occurred yesterday afternoon at his home, 588 East Merrimack street, aged 50 years. The deceased was sitting in the chair reading the Sunday papers when he was attacked with a sudden illness and passed away in a few moments. For the past 20 years he has been employed by Freeman B. Shedd as caretaker.

He leaves to mourn his loss three daughters, the Misses Annie, May and Catherine; four sons, John, James, Frank and Thomas; three sisters, two of whom reside in Baltimore and one in Ireland; and one brother in Ireland. The deceased was a member of Industry council, Royal Arcanum, Court Wamesit, Foresters of America and the Holy Name society of the Immaculate Conception church.

His father was Michael Vesey 1822 - 1896 and mother Bridget Keirins 1826 - 1890 (who were farmers in Co Roscommon in the townland of Ballindollogan).
