Mrs. Edna Cook, 76, wife of James H. Cook, well known farmer at Milo, died at a local hospital from a stroke Friday morning.

Mrs. Cook was born May 11, 1888 at Centerville, Utah, the daughter of Joseph Ford and Emma Garn Ford. She married James H. Cook Jan. 24, 1912, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. After their marriage they moved to Milo where he was engaged in farming.

She was active in the LDS Church, a teacher in the Sunday School and Primary, secretary of the Primary and at the time of death she was a secretary of the Senior Sunday School class and was a visiting teacher in the Relief Society. She received her education at Centerville, Utah.

She is survived by her husband and the following children: Harold LaMar Cook, Hamilton, Mont.; Mrs. Ewin (Irene) Wright, Idaho Falls; Mrs. LaVaun (Marie) Jensen, Aberdeen; James Cook Jr., Milo; Mrs. Walter (Edna) Phillips, Tacoma, Wash.; 15 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren and the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Rebecca Cook, Idaho Falls; Mrs. Lunetta Palmer, Bountiful, Utah; Elna Nelson, Woods Cross, Rulon Ford, Centerville, Utah; Mrs. Myrtle Barlow, Vale, Ore., and Eugene Ford, Salt Lake City.
