Funeral services for Charles G. Schmittel, 61, of 731 May st., who died Thursday, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Prentice & Co. funeral home, 856 Coburn st., Mr. Schmittel died after an illness of more than a year. He had been a barber in Akron, operating a shop on S Main near the B. F. Goodrich co. for 30 years. He leaves one son, Charles of Akron, and two sisters, Mrs Anna Melchert of Cleveland and Mrs. Elizabeth Willis of Akron. Burial will be in Medina cemetery.
