A homemaker who enjoyed gardening and sports, Helen C. Larsen, died Wednesday, June 16, 2004, in Vancouver. She was 84.
Mrs. Larsen was born December 23, 1919, in Zeeland, N.D. to Phillip and Mary (Hoerner) Blondo, and moved to Vancouver in 1969. Her husband, Robert J., died in 1974.
Survivors include two sons, Robert of Vancouver and Ronald (Barbara) of Goldendale; one brother, Ed Blondo of Prosser; one sister, Luella Ticknor of McMinnville, Ore.; one grandchild; and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her brother, Walter Blondo; a sister, Dolores Perry and her parents.
A funeral Mass will begin at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, at St. John's Catholic Church. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
