Actor. Born in Idaho, he began his career singing in films with the Jimmy Dorsey band in the 1940s. His feature film credits included "Starlift" (1951), "Submarine Command" (1952) and "Inherit The Wind" (1960). He was also a regular in television shows appearing on the Jack Paar Show, "Have Gun Will Travel" "Hotel De Paree" "Johnny Ringo" "Wanted: Dead Or Alive" "Law Of The Plainsman" "Richard Diamond, Private Detective" "Black Saddle" and "Trackdown". He died in Hollywood at 37, while undergoing heart surgery.
