Born in York County, he was the son of the late Paul and Edith Sullivan Klinedinst. His first wife was the late Beatrice Geiman Klinedinst.
He retired in 1981 from Triman Industries in New Oxford. He was a member of AARP; a lifetime member of Pleasant Hill Fire Co; and a member of the York County Firemen's Association.
Also surviving are three sons, Richard Klinedinst, Ray Klinedinst and Fred Klinedinst, all of Hanover; two daughter, Mrs. Albert (Elaine) Sneeringer of Hanover, and Judy Klinedinst, at home; four step-daughters, Bonnie Arndt, Mrs. Linda Strausbaugh and Mrs. Lisa Strausbaugh, all of Hanover, Mrs. Margaret Stover of York; two brothers, Denonn Sullivan and Robert Klinedinst, both of Hanover; five sisters, Mrs. Naomi Geiman of Hanover, Mrs. Ethel Rohrbaugh of Middletown, Mrs. Velma Harner of Gettysburg, Mrs. Mary Harner of Hanover and Mrs. Marie Miller of York; 11 grandchildren; and 14 step-grandchildren.
The services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Wetzel Funeral Home, 549 Carlisle St., with the Rev. Fred Mummerts, of Harvest Time Temple, officiating. Burial will be in St. David's Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday evening.
