He was retired from Ames Dept. Store. He was a Jehovah's Witness for 37 years. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Glenna Short Wine; one son and spouse, Steven and Donna Wine, of Newburg; one daughter, Brenda Wine, of Kingwood; one brother, Franklin Wine, of Reedy; three sisters, Mildred Foster, of Charleston, Wilma Parsons and Ruby Batton, both of Ripley; six grandchildren, Cassandra Wine, Jocelyn Wine, Courtney Wine, Alishia Wine, Zachary Wine and Hannah Wine. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Arthur, Clifford and Jack Wine; and two sisters, Mabel Batton and Freda Brooks.
