Mary was the only daughter of Orasmies P. Brown. She was married at Kingsville, Ohio on the 31st of August 1852 to W.B. Birchard. Together they had eleven children, five of whom died prior to Mary. She also died leaving a cousin, Mrs. Pierce of South Center Street in Corry, Erie Co., PA. Mary was interred on the 5th of August 1890.
