Beulah Rebecca Taylor Robinson Wiggins, resident of Hazen and former resident of McCrory and the Woodruff County area, died Saturday, August 16, 2003 at Stuttgart Regional Medical Center in Stuttgart. She was 88 years of age and died following an extended illness.

Funeral services were conducted Monday at Thompson-Wilson Funeral Chapel in McCrory with Rev. Edwin Brewer, pastor of the McCrory First Assembly of God Church, officiating. Interment was in Pumpkin Bend Cemetery, McCrory. Thompson-Wilson Funeral Directors were in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Wiggins was born on July 4, 1915 in McCrory, the daughter of the late Charlie S. and Maggie Holt Taylor.

She attended Pumpkin Bend schools and was married to Everett Lloyd Robinson who preceded her in death. She later married Alvin Wiggins who also preceded her.

A true homemaker, Mrs. Wiggins loved the simple things in life such as sewing, cooking, working in her yard and visiting with her friends and neighbors. When her grandchildren and great-grandchildren came along, the family said just being around them made her look 10 years younger.

While in McCrory, Mrs. Wiggins attended the Pumpkin Bend Assembly of God Church and was a devoted wife, bother, grandmother and Christian.

Survivors include three sons, Alfred Robinson, Pine Bluff, Rondie Robinson, Southhaven, MS., and Elvis Robinson of McCrory, one daughter, Fannie Martin of DeValls Bluff; three step sons, two step daughters; one sister, Ruby Allgood Wiggins; 10 grandchildren, 19 step grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by two sisters and one brother*.

The family requests memorials be made to Pumpkin Bend Cemetery, c/o Freddie Lee James, McCrory, AR 72101.

*Grandma actually had two brothers, with both preceding her in death.
