Daisy filed for divorce in 17 November 1899 due to extreme cruelty and was finalized on 7 July 1900. Thomas E Cunningham and wife Lillian A Douglas took the child in and raised him. Albert assumed the last name of Cunningham. Lewis was a farmer most of his life and lastly a night watchman at the mill.
