Rose E. Paris, died Friday morning in a Kingfisher hospital after a several months illness.

Services were Sunday at 2:30 p.m. in the First Baptist Church with the Reverend Travis D. Hanna officiating. Burial in the Hennessey Cemetery was directed by Cordry and Son.

Rose E. Bailey was born here May 30, 1897, attended schools here and on September 6, 1914, she and Charles M. Grimes were married. He died March 29, 1933. On July 10, 1955, she and John W. Paris were married and lived in Crescent. He had lived here and worked at the Dayhuff-Redenbo general store before moving to Crescent. He died October 17, 1972. She lived in Crescent until failing health caused her to be here, closer to her family.

She was a member of the Baptist Church.

Survivors are three daughters, Mrs. Dena L. Hanna, Oklahoma City; Mrs. Lou Ida Simmons, Maumelle New Town, Arkansas; Mrs. Audrey E. Robinson, Buena Park, California; a son, Don I. Grimes, Hennessey; two sisters, Mrs. Byron Crain and Mrs. Cyrus Crain, Hennessey; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren.
