Winifred Hodges Packer, 48, died Tuesday in Sparks, Nevada.

She was born in Garden City, Utah, a daughter of Nathaniel and Charlott Hancock Hodges.

She married Othello L Packer thirty years ago in the Logan Temple. They made their home in Fielding, Utah, until 1925 when they moved to Ogden, Utah. Ten years later they went to Sparks, Nevada. Her husband died ten years ago. Since that time she has been employed by the Southern Pacific Railroad.

Surviving are three sons and two daughters: LeRoy, Steve, and Bernard Packer, June and Ione Packer, all of Sparks, Nevada; also two grandchildren and the following brothers and sisters: Mrs Blanche Johnson, Beaver Dam; Morris R Hodges, Logan, Utah; Parley Hodges, Garden City, Utah; Lynn J Hodges, Ogden, Utah; Wilford Hodges, Georgia; Marion Hodges, California; Elizabeth Packer, Fielding, Utah and Rue Wood, Salt Lake City, Utah.

Burial was held in the Fielding City Cemetery, Fielding, Utah.
