Terry S. Ott, 58, of Moline, died Tuesday, July 5, 2011, at his home.
Services for Mr. Ott will be 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, 3030 7th Ave., Rock Island. Visitation will be Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Entombment will be in the Calvary Mausoleum, Rock Island. Memorials may be made to the family.
Terry was born on June 6, 1953, in Moline, a son of Thomas E. Ott and Donna Donovan Ott. He married Linda Arnold on May 22, 1976, in Rock Island; she preceded him in death on Nov. 4, 2001. Later, Terry married Jessica Cox in Las Vegas on Jan. 10, 2011.
Mr. Ott had worked as a truck driver for Modern Transportation before his retirement. Earlier, he had worked for G.W. Block Company.
Terry was a member of the Red Green Show Fan Club. He enjoyed camping, fishing, riding his motorcycle and spending time with his family. Mr. Ott was also an avid Chicago Cubs and Chicago Bears fan.
Survivors include his wife, Jessica; mother, Donna, Moline; children, Leanne Ott, San Antonio, Texas, Melisa Ott, Waterloo, Iowa, Douglas Ott, Moline; stepchildren, Tyler Cox, Moline, Cyrus Matheson, Moline, Jasmine Matheson, Moline; grandchildren, Tyler, Jansessa, Damien and Ryn; sister, Tracey Ott, Moline; brothers, Thomas (Becky) Ott, Moline, and Tim (Melissa) Ott, Moline; and several nieces and nephews. Terry was preceded in death by his father, Thomas; and first wife, Linda.
