Ralph Beem, son of Daniel and Emma Beem, passed away at the home of his son, Augustus Beem in Lorain, Ohio, Saturday, February 12th.

He was born in Spencer, May 7, 1874. All his early life he lived in Spencer, and for several years was associated with his brother Ross, in the Beem Bros. Shoe Store. He later sold his interest in the store, and with his family moved to Zanesville the death of his wife. Since then he made his home with his son, Agustus and daughter, Elizabeth.

He was married April 16, 1903 to Stella Dean, who preceded him in death eighteen years ago.

Three children were born, Daniel (deceased); Augustus of Lorain, Ohio, and Mrs. Jack Beal of Zanesville, Ohio, but now residing with Captian Beal in Turkey. He also leaves four grandchildren.

Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Charles P. Shulhafer, Methodist pastor, Wednesday afternoon at two o'clock at ehe West & Son Funeral Home, and interment was made in Riverside Cemetery.
