On the 19th ult. departed this Life, in the 97th Year of his Age, RICHARD MOORE, Esq; of Oxford. His Consort died about seven Years ago, in her 90th year. They lived together in the Marriage State 67 years, and were blessed with a very numerous Offspring; but their Posterity being so dispersed, as renders it difficult to ascertain immediately the exact Number, a particular Account may be expected hereafter, which will equal, perhaps, if not surpass any like Instance which this Country has produced. The above Deceased has left three surviving Brothers, and one Sister, whose Ages, added together, amount to upwards of 340 Years.

(*This comes from a poem also found on the 1806 headstone of Mary Relict/Daniel Sexton recorded in the book "The History of Enfield, Connecticut by John Chauncey Pease)
