Also surviving are a son, Frederick W. Jr. (Linda), Waynesfield; four daughters, Linda L. (Randy) Butler, Holly, MI, and Margaret E. (Robert) Mooney Sr., Judy L. Crawford, and Tina R. Crawford, all Lima; a brother, Irvin, Woodsfield; two sisters, Belva Mowery, Cridersville, and Hilda Crawford, Lima; and thirteen grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.

He was a member of Helsel Bible Church until it closed. He retired in 1980 from Superior Coach, where he was a dip room laborer. He was a member of the 25 Club at Superior Coach. When he was younger, he enjoyed fishing, gardening and bowling.
Services are at Chiles-Laman Funeral and Cremation Services, Shawnee Chapel, with the Rev. Thomas Gossard, officiating.
