Nellie C. Quinn
Willard— Nellie C. Quinn, 94, formerly of Main Street, died Tuesday (May 5) at Geneva General Hospital following an extended illness.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Covert Funeral Home, Ovid.
The funeral will be at 9:30 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. Nelson Ruppert officiating.
Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Ovid. Memorial contributions may be made to the Holy Cross Church Improvement Fund.
Miss Quinn was born in Romulus, daughter of William and Mary Mahoney Quinn. She graduated from the Willard School of Nursing in 1913. She was charge nurse until 1926 and then appointed chief social worker until her retirement in 1941. She was employed at the former Sampson Naval Base and at the Sampson Air Force Base and later retired in 1962 from the Seneca Army Depot.
Surviving are several nieces and nephews.
