AVREL LEE BRUMFIELD, 79, of Crown City, Ohio, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 9, 2010, at home. He was born April 5, 1931, in Crown City, Ohio, to the late Perry Ogle and Lelia Lockhart Brumfield. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Howard Ogle Brumfield; and great-granddaughter, Aaleigh Starr. Avrel was a Church of Christ Minister at Ohio Valley Church of Christ Miller, Ohio, retired from Armco Steel and was an Army veteran. He is survived by his wife, Birdie Howard Brumfield; daughter, Glenda Bull (Kris) of Kingston Springs, Tenn.; son, Tucker Floyd (Nina) of Largo, Fla.; nine grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be conducted 3 p.m. Sunday, December 12, 2010, at Hall Funeral Home by Minister Brad Poe. Burial will follow in Crown City Cemetery . Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, December 11, 2010, at Hall Funeral Home Proctorville, Ohio. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/hall.
