Cynthia Ann Hulsey, age 65, of Nashville, passed away on July 6, 2011 at Alive Hospice at St. Thomas. She was a graduate of Central High School in 1964 and was an outstanding basketball player for Central High School Lady Tigers. She graduated from Middle Tennessee State University and later attended George Peabody University. Cindy was a teacher at Smyrna Elementary and a District Supervisor for Taco Bell in six states. She was a member of the Baptist Church.


Cindy was preceded in death by her father, James Hulsey. She is survived by her mother, Lura Hawkins Hulsey of Murfreesboro; loving companion of 35 years, Emmy L. Wishum of Nashville; foster brothers, George King of Kansas and Chris Paridise of Murfreesboro; several cousins and two special friends, Dave Lawson and Dwight Smith both of Antioch.

A chapel service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, July 8, 2011 at Jennings and Ayers Chapel with David Humphrey officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens with family serving as active pallbearers.

Visitation with the family will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 7, 2011 at Jennings & Ayers Funeral Home; 820 South Church St., Murfreesboro, TN 37130. 615-893-2422. Please leave condolences at www.jenningsandayers.com
