The funeral of George Y. Fletcher was largely attended Monday afternoon at the home, Rev. M. H. Dawson read the Scripture and made the prayer and Rev. G. J. Start, pastor of the Congregational church, preached a splendid sermon. Two selections in song was given by George Kart and Stanley Dann.
Burial was in the family vault at Lakeside Cemetery.
The daughter, Mrs. Margaret Knouse of Los Angeles, Cal., arrived Sunday evening on the night train, and was in attendance. The spacious home was filled with relatives and friends from Sebewa, Ionia and Odessa and elsewhere, as Mr. Fletcher was very well known in several communities.
