Services will be 9:30 a.m. Saturday in the Prey Funeral Home, Oglesby and a 10 a.m. Mass in Holy Family Church, Oglesby with the Rev. Denis Mackessy officiating. Entombment will be in Shrine of Memories Mausoleum in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, La Salle, with a flag-folding ceremony to be conducted by the Oglesby American Legion.
Visitation will be Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Prey Funeral Home in Oglesby with a rosary at 7 p.m. with the Oglesby American Legion to meet at 7:30 p.m.
He was born Feb. 21, 1915 in Oglesby to Boleslaw and Bogumila Sieroczynski Skowronski. He married Marie Servalli on May 28, 1942 in Sacred Heart Church in Oglesby. He retired in 1971 from Marquette Cement Co. He was a veteran of World War II, a member of Holy Family Church, the Oglesby American Legion and the UCLGWA Local 12 at Marquette Cement.
He is survived by his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Ronald (Jane) Meisel of Peru; and two sons, Lee of Peru and Ricky of Oglesby; four grandsons; three brothers, William of Danville, Casimir of Chicago and James of Rockford; one sister, Mrs. Edward (Helen) Konczal of La Salle.
He was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.
