Anna Sundberg Akerberg, pioneer resident of Rockwood township was born June 9, 1866 in Sweden and passed away in her home in Rockwood township on September 13, 1958 at the age of 92 years.
She married Paul Akerberg in Sweden on June 21, 1891 and immigrated to America to a farm west of Sebeka in 1894, where she lived until the time of her death.
Surviving her are three sons and one daughter, namely: Albert Akerberg, South Bend, Indiana; John and Edward Akerberg, Sebeka, Minnesota; and Mrs. J.A. (Bertha) Sundberg, Whitefish, Montana; four grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Mrs. Akerberg was a member of Trinity Lutheran church in Sebeka since 1896.
Funeral services for this respected pioneer were held Thursday, September 18, at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. C. D. Mattson officiating. Interment was in the village cemetery.
