Adam A. Cich, 75, of Steubenville, a former Toronto resident, died at 2:55 a.m. Sunday, March 6, 1994, in LaBelle View Nursing Home.

He was a meat cutter at the former Kosciuszko Market and Andy's Superette until his retirement with 35 years of service. He was a member of St. Francis Roman Catholic Church, Toronto Fraternal Order of Eagles and Toronto American Legion Post 861.

The U. S. Army veteran of World War II was a graduate of Toronto High School.

Surviving are a son, James of Toronto; three sisters, Mrs. John (Mary) Bilchak, Ann McCarthy and Martha Shimmel, all of Toronto; and three grandchildren.

He was born Sept. 11, 1918, in New Cumberland, a son of the late Walter and Anna Majowski Cich. He was preceded in death by a son, Lawrence, in 1951; and a daughter, Charlotte Hughes, in 1993.
