Son of Josef Folos & Ann Tallagie.Born in St. Miklos, Hungary, a German area just outside of Budapest. He departed Hamburg, Germany with his brother Mihaly (Michael)and arrived at Ellis Island, New York on Jan. 17, 1907 aboard the ship "Kaiserin Augusta Victoria." He was born Gergely, but used the name George in America. Some family called him Gregory. He married Wilhelmina (Wilma) Wagner on Jan 10, 1910 in St. Louis, Mo. at St. Peter & Paul catholic church. Their firstborn son George died at age 6 months, they then had 1 daughter and 2 sons. He worked as a laborer and died of organic heart disease. Surname was spelled as Folyas on ship's passenger list, also has been spelled as Foeloes or Foelos. Cemetery records do not exist, I was told his grave was probably "covered over" if the family did not purchase it.
