Mrs. Ackerman was born August 24, 1910 the daughter of Edwin Condon and Margaret Doran, in Riceville, Iowa.
She is survived by her husband, Martin, Elma; one daughter, Mrs. Jerry (Delores) Reich, Cannon Falls, Minnesota; one son, Edward, U.S. Army, Germany; two brothers, Maurice, New Haven and James, Waterloo; four sisters, Mrs. Art (Helen) Hentges, Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin; Mrs. E. W. (Nina) Burke, Waterloo; Mrs. Francis (Catherine) Vikstadt, Mazzappa, Minnesota; Miss Margaret Condon, Washington, D.C.; four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and one sister.
Burial was in Calvary Cemetery in Riceville with the Chisholm Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
