Della Agnes Boarman Hardesty, 86, of 10047 Walnut St., Whitesville died Monday, January 2, 1989, at her home. She was born in Whitesville and was a member of St. Mary of the Woods Catholic Church, the church Altar Society for 50 years, the Army of Mary and the Legion of Mary. Her husband, Fonce Hardesty, died June 25, 1972. Surviving are 7 sons, Thomas Fabian, Gerald A., William Kenneth, Frank C., George Emil and Victor Lawrence, all of Owensboro, and Joseph Clifford Hardesty of Louisville; 2 daughters, Mrs. Tony (Dorothy) Mattingly of Whitesville and Mrs. Emma Lee Fulkerson of Utica; 42 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Zelma Connor of Fordsville. Services are at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Mary of the Woods Catholic Church. Burial in the church cemetery. Visitation after 10 a.m. today at Cecil Funeral Home, Whitesville, where prayers will be said at 7 p.m. today.
