Willie Dyer, 31, of Rt. 1, Bringhurst,
was killed at 4:40 a.m. Thurs., Feb. 2,
1978, when he was struck by a state
highway snow removal vehicle on U. S.
52, near Otterbein. He died of multiple
internal injuries.
Born Oct. 27, 1946, in Bath County,
Ky., he was the son of Lucian and
Samantha Montgomery Dyer, who
survive. He was married to Rita Buhr,
who survives.
He was employed at Delco Electronics,
Kokomo.
Surviving with the parents and wife
are two daughters, Kristina and
Deborah, both at home; three brothers,
Benford Dyer of Leesburg, Fla., Burl
Dyer of Rt. 1, Attica, and Elmer Dyer
of Bringhurst, and one sister, Mrs.
Phyllis Waddle of Otterbein.
Services were Monday in Kokomo
with the Rev. Leroy Kinnamon officiating.
Burial was in Sunset Memory
Gardens.
