Born in Greentown Oct. 29, 1903, he was the son of Alonzo and Chloe (Burgan) Dutton, on Oct. 29, 1924, he married Anna Copp, who survives.
Dutton lived at Burlington for 25 years. He retired from Chrysler Corp. in 1966 and was a member of United Auto Workers Local 685. He also was a member of Windfall Church of the Brethren.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. James (Alice) Hatton of Rt. 1, Greentown; Mrs. Oscar (Patricia) Metz of Burlington, and Mrs. William (Keita) Shannon of Kokomo; two sons John E. Dutton of Rt. 1, Bringhurst and Boyd Dutton of Greentown; a brother, Jesse Dutton of Rochester; 14 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. One brother and one sister are deceased.
