Orin Dale Hatch,age 92,passed away at Rocky Mountain Care in Evanston on April 6.He was born on Feb.28,1918 in Randolph,Utah,the son and tenth child of Jabez Bradford and Annie(Putnam)Hatch.He married Elaine Taylor on Sept.14,1938 in the Salt Lake Temple,Salt Lake City,Utah.All nine of his brothers and sisters have proceeded him in death.He lived and worked on the family ranch all his life with his son,Douglas.He loved taking care of the cattle and horses.He loved racehorses,coaching and playing baseball,and ranching.He had several thoroughbred horses,and spent winters in Phoenix with his horses. He is survived by his son,Douglas(JoAnna)Hatch of Randolph,Utah:a daughter-in-law Joyce Hatch of Cocoa,Fla.,
:daughters Gwenda Batty of Evanston:Elva(LaVar)Putnam,of Evanston:and Marie(Roger)Whitaker,of Brigham City,Utah.He is also survived by 15 grandchildren,34 great grandchildren,and 11 great great grandchildren. Dale is proceeded in death by his parents,five brothers,four sisters,and one son Vernon Hatch,and one grandson Duane Batty.Visitation will be at the Randolph LDS Chapel,on April10 from 10 a.m. until noon.Funeral services will be conducted at 12 noon at the Randolph LDS Chapel,with Bishop Monte Weston officiating.Interment will follow services at the Randolph Cemetery,Randolph,Utah.Arrangements are under the direction of Crandall Funeral Home.
