Roy Allen Caneer, 86, of Paducah died at 6:50 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 16, 2007, at Western Baptist Hospital.
A native of Paducah, Mr. Caneer had been a member of the United Central Presbyterian Church for over 50 years. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. Mr. Caneer enjoyed rock polishing and gardening. He was a retired self-employed body shop supply dealer.
Mr. Caneer is survived by his wife of 66 years, Ruby Allene Wade Caneer; two sons, Richard A. Caneer and his wife, Trena, of Paducah, and Rendell A. Caneer and his wife, Marcia, of Nashville, Tenn.; and one granddaughter, Marla Dawn Caneer Potter and her husband, Scott, of Calvert City.
His parents were Coy B. and Toy Buckler Caneer.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 18, 2007, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with the Rev. Bill Farr officiating. Burial will be at Mount Kenton Cemetery.
