Julian P. Mendoza, passed away on July 22, 2009 at the VA Hospital.
Julian was born to Jesusita and Julian Mendoza Sr. on March 10, 1932. Julian is survived by his daughter, Juanita Danzeiser and her husband, John and two grandsons, David and Sean. Julian is also survived by his sister Frances Segura (90), who remained loving and loyal to him until he went to be with his Lord and Savior.
Julian was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Simon, Salomon, Andrew, Jennie, Mary, Annie and Odelia.
Julian was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in the Korean War.
Julian was a lifelong resident of the Barelas Community and was active in senior activities for many years. Julian loved bowling and playing softball.
A Rosary will be recited at 10:00 a.m., on Friday July 31, 2009 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. A Celebration of the Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Albuquerque. Interment will follow at Santa Fé National Cemetery at 3:00 p.m.
Julian will be dearly missed by all of his friends and family.
