Charles R. Faulkner, 84, was found dead Saturday in his trailer home, 26 Altoona Ave., Minquadale, by his son Nelson B. Faulkner.
According to the state medical examiner’s office Mr. Faulkner died Friday of natural causes.
He was born in Greensboro, Md., and had been a resident of the Wilmington area for 60 years.
He was employed as a mechanic for the Speakman Co., for 15 years before his retirement several years ago.
Mr. Faulkner was a Navy veteran of World War I.
He is survived by two sons, Nelson B. of Albertson Park and John O. of Wilmington, and a brother, Frank of Dover. His wife Etta L. Faulkner, died in 1963.
Services will be this morning at 1 at the Chandler Funeral Home, 2506 Concord Pike, Talleyville. There will be no viewing. Interment will be in Riverview Cemetery, 33d and Market Sts.
